The second annual National Student Success Conference: Innovators and Innovations will take place February 27 – March 1, 2019, in Tampa. Florida.  The 2019 keynote presenters are:

  • Sara Goldrick-Rab, Ph.D. an award winning professor of Higher Education Policy & Sociology at Temple University and founder of the Wisconsin HOPE Lab. Goldrick-Rab is a leading expert on food insecurity, homelessness on college campuses, and designing creative solutions to make college more affordable.
  • Troy Markowitz, the Vice President of Partnerships at Portfolium. Markowitz helps colleges and universities plan for the entire student lifecycle. A frequent contributor to Forbes magazine, Markowitz challenges the traditional notion that a “skills gap” exists amongst recent college graduates and advocates for programs and practices that address the “awareness gap.”

In addition to the esteemed keynote presenters, the National Student Success Conference is devoted to shining a light on the latest innovations in higher education as such faculty, researchers, administrators and higher education experts may submit session proposals now through September 1, 2018. The National Student Success Conference programming team is interested in student success programs, practices and/or insights related to any of these areas:
